Expect The Following When You Visit Life Church
Good News
Expect to hear the good news of Jesus every time we gather. Our gatherings are filled with opportunities for you to hear, participate in, and apply the good news of Jesus to your real life.
Sunday School
Life Kids is a ministry dedicated to coming alongside parents in discipling their children to love and follow Jesus in everyday life. Children join us for worship and are dismissed just before the sermon.
Relaxed Environment
We are real people, so we function more like a family than an organization. We are normal people who struggle with real stuff. We value community and honesty over uptight and religious. We don’t care what you wear or what you look like. Our passion is to focus on worshiping Jesus and serving one another every time we gather.
Confession of Sins
Every Sunday we take time during the Sunday Worship to acknowledge ours sins before God and be comforted by the pardon we have in Christ.
Diversity
Expect real people from various backgrounds and life stages. You’ll also find folks in different stages of their spiritual journey, from skeptics to deeply committed.
Refreshments
After the service we serve refreshments and enjoy a time of fellowship together.
What is our worship like?
We begin the service with the scripture on adoration and a call to worship; we try to sing a good mix of traditional songs as well as more modern contemporary worship songs in English and other common South African languages. Song lyrics are displayed on the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship, after the music portion of service is complete; a Bible-based, encouraging and hope-filled message is shared by the speaker of the day.
Come As You Are
Our desire is for you to be able to come as you are. Wherever you are in life, we want to get to know the real you. You don’t have to have it all together. We certainly don’t! We believe that all people need a place to belong as they are. No walls, no masks, just real life.
